…this image was forwarded to me. This is the third floor, when the house was used by a fraternity in the 1960s. See the upper sashes? ZOUNDS! Well, there was now NO question that I would have the lost squares recreated. And, a year later…
….WHOEE!!!!!!!!
In a week or so the lower sashes will be restored, then all four sashes will be reinstalled in the big gable, and time will have…reversed.
I AM LIVING FOR THE DAY!

You may have posted details in the past, but I forget, did you need to have the entire sashes reproduced, or just the muntins?
The upper sashes were original, and it was obvious where the muntins had been knocked out.
I sent the sashes off to the mysterious sash guy (we have never met) with instructions to recreate the missing muntins.
Instead…he made all new sashes.
Sigh.
I could have refused them but I have not found anybody else who will do such work.
Sigh.
How exciting the sashes are redone! With each new addition and the installation of restored stained glass, window sashes, and any other area it is so heartening to see your eye for detail & your aesthetic. Cross House looked so lovely.
Are you still committed to combo electric/gas lamps?? With the eclectic might not the lighting also be eclectic? All those beautiful fixtures you restore….
