THE most amazing house restoration. WOW!
Kelly, who is the originator (and Goddess) of my favorite blog, Old House Dreams, alerted me to another blog.
“I think you will enjoy it,” she wrote.
The simple name of the blog, The Danville Experience, in no way prepares one for the astounding, extraordinary, awe-inspiring, breathtaking work undertaken by a young couple. The blog, more accurately, should be called The Danville Miracle.

As impressive as the above before/after is, this is just a hint, a taste, of wondrous transformations & discoveries which will have your eyes bugging out and your mind thinking: They did what???????
The author, Carla, is a good storyteller, and many of her posts brought smiles to my face, laughs from my belly, and produced tears of joy streaming down my cheeks.
Incredible.
I read every post, from beginning to the most recent. There is a LOT to take in, but I have rarely spent time so deeply satisfied and well-nourished.
Carla, and her amazing husband, Tom, are heroes to me. I bow to them in awe.
So, give yourself some time, nestle in with a glass of wine (or two), and enjoy the adventure. You will not regret it.

Just a browse through the photos of Preparing the Parlors, Part II is astounding. OMG! It’s too early in the morning for the two-glasses of wine read in detail, but what they are doing is UNBELIEVABLE!
I know! I was gobsmacked reading through all the posts!
I blame them for a whole day of not being able to stop reading their blog!!! Such awesomeness that I could not stop until I read every last post! Why they aren’t mega famous in the restoration world is beyond me.
The site stole 2 days of my life! Of course I had to re-read numerous posts, there are so many details/info!
I also wonder why Carla and Tom are not mega famous for their work.
