…SE corner. EEK!!!!!!!! What has stopped the corner from receiving attention was the work to repair the walls around the electrical wall boxes I installed over a year ago to assure that the 1894 gas/electric wall sconces in these exact locations could be recreated. Well, today, I finally got the walls patched up! Small hole to right; big hole to left. I feel quite victorious. (The overmantel is now sitting in the library. Peacefully reading.)
