Oooh, that looks very precarious Ross. Be careful.

Cindy, I always wear a parachute!

Well, that’s good thinking. haha You need a good sense of humor when doing tedious work like that, or maybe you weren’t kidding. Either way, great work.

Very precarious & thank goodness for a parachute!

      Agreed, Sandra!

I’m so glad you found Cross House. With your inching along attitude you will finish it and restore an incredible piece of history. Very few people would have the patience to continue to keep doing this house Justice and track down the problems so that it will last well into the future. You’re giving a precious gift to the future generations of Kansas. You’re a champion Ross.

Oh, Annette. You are very sweet. Thank you!

I agree with Annette! I don’t think most people would do what you are doing Ross. Fantastic, work. Look so forward to seeing more inching.

Ross, when you need inspiration just stop and go stand and just look at the north and west side of the house. It is amazing! Ever time I drive by I thrill all over again that someone cared enough to restore it. You are doing a fabulous job. It is beautiful……just be careful.

Sorry the progress has to end this week. I hope you have some exciting inside projects to work on for a couple of days. Looks like winter is coming early this year!

Looking good! Is there some kind of corner flashing? Maybe that is not a thing, I just wondered looking at the shingles and house wrap (maybe that is enough?).
