Just beautiful! It’s amazing what you can do with something most people would trash.
Perfectly lovely! The patina is beautiful; it’s great to see something sensitively restored with a restrained hand rather than having the #@&% polished out of it to make it look gleaming and “new”.
That looks great! I also agree that it looks so much better with an aged patina, rather than polished to shiny golden brass.
And lastly, I’m still baffled at why people paint light fixtures. Then again, it’s popular now, but at least it’s usually with throwaway brass-and-glass fixtures from 20 or 30 years ago:

Afraid I’m not in love with the shades but, that is a handsome bronze finish. I adore the simplicity of the wide fluting and the tiny bead detail 💜 Yowza!
