I saw a DUMP TRUMP one today in my small town of Iowa. I have been afraid to put a bumper sticker on my car. I am hearing about vandalism against people in Iowa who display for Biden. So it was nice to see the Dump Trump! But I have also spoken with MANY people afraid to put up Biden signs. The belligerence from trump supporters is awful!

There are documented stories about Trump supporters driving around in the middle of the night and grabbing every Biden sign they can find.
I’ve not found the same kind of stories about Biden supporters stealing Trump signs. I looked!

It is in the police blotter of many Iowa cities almost daily. They are being stolen all the time in Iowa. People are putting signs on their signs- “if you steal this I will donate $50 to Planned Parenthood” to try to stop it.
Lucky you Ross! I am surrounded by Trump signs. I have to change the angle of my chair looking out the window so that I don’t see them…. I too am scared of putting up a Biden sign though I WILL be voting for him.
Isn’t it awful to think we now live in a country in which we are fearful to place a sign showing our support for the opposing party because of retaliation? I never thought that I would live to see the state our country is in. I hope things will change for the better come November. I don’t know if I can bear another four years of all this hatefulness.
I am leery, too, fearing vandalism of my home. But now after reading how many of us are fearful (and too smart, respectful and law abiding to steal Trump signs ourselves), I’m going to buy many Biden signs and keep putting one after another in my yard if they get abducted by Trump Rif Raf. Maybe figure out how to attach a sign to my roof🤔…
I had to turn around and take a picture of a sign. It said
“Any responsible Adult 2020”
I have lots of poison Ivey in my yard….maybe I will place signs in patches of that!!!!

Since we put out the first Biden sign the first week of August, they have stolen two; the last time (this past Sunday night), they dumped a big bag of household trash on our lawn. I’ve installed a night-vision trail camera this week, and we’ve put out the biggest sign yet. I am also thinking of getting some ghost pepper oil and applying it all over the sign so that the sucker/loser who takes it will not enjoy their prank as much as they expected…
I’ve seen one person post a note on their sign saying “If you steal this, we will donate $50 to Planned Parenthood and buy another sign, so you’ll just be supporting the Biden campaign”. Don’t know how well it’s worked for them.
I hid who I was voting for last time (north Georgia, didn’t feel like being harassed) and this time around I’m not going to do it. I put a Biden/Harris magnet on my car, I wear my Biden/Harris tshirt as often as I can wash it (and I swap out with my 86 45 tshirt and my Nevertheless She Persisted tshirt), and I put a BLM flag in my front garden. Now I just hope I don’t get vandalized

Expecting my Biden sign to arrive any day! In our neighborhood someone did steal a Trump sign and the neighbor who had placed it in his yard, was very vocal about in a neighborhood forum. No one should steal signs… But I had thought about nabbing that Trump sign lol. However I have willpower and resisted.

Sadly even if Biden wins I don’t think the hatefulness in this country will end. There are so many things needing fixing in this country and too many would rather take sides than talk about solutions.
