As a very concerned Canadian I cried (literally wept tears) for American citizens today… So happy!!! I laughed sooo hard when a guy called to a giggling Canadian reporter that he was so happy he didn’t have to move to Canada 🇨🇦

Thank God, I’ve been on pins & needles for 5 days. We are taking our country back. I’ve watched the videos all over the country, people yelling and rejoicing, cars horns honking. New York City looked and sounded like the celebration when World War II ended. Squeee!!
Cindy, have you seen the videos of church bells ringing all across Paris? I cried! And fireworks going off in London!
No Ross, I haven’t seen those from across the world, but it’s wonderful. I saw headlines, but didn’t read the article yet saying “Allies, we have allies” foreign leaders around the world congratulating Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. Truly the best day in 4 years.
This is such a huge sense of relief and hope, it’s impossible to describe. When the results were called this morning here in Denver, cars starting beeping their horns in celebration (we live near a major road) and it was just total JOY!!

I have been glued to the t.v all day….crying, clapping, cheering….wishing we could all be together drinking a glass of wine and celebrating together!!!

Well, the trumpers said they wanted to “make liberals cry again”. They did… tears of joy, on and off ALL DAY yesterday! I just couldn’t stop. Every video of people dancing in the streets, church bells ringing, all of it… I was just a weepy mush the entire day. I so wish my brother in law (who was black) had lived to see the day. He hated trump.
I played John Philip Sousa’s Star and Stripes Forever, did a dance of joy with 2 American flags, and then cried.
I thought of you Ross.
I had the first feeling of hope in such a long time. And now we live in a county that has a belief in science again!
