There is something oppressive about the before. Messy can make a large space seem small and depressing, whereas neat can make a smaller space seem bigger and cheerier. The windows don’t hurt either. That natural light is going to make that space. While it will never be a “finished” space like the rest of the house, it is certainly going to be a pleasant space to work in.
Sometimes the most important things you do for a living space are the things you clean up. Wow, that’s a difference. I’m glad you have this blog to document the difference you’re making in these houses. Those before and after picture really tell a story.
