Trimming Diamonds

In 2014, I removed a curious carbuncle to the rear of the carriage house. The addition allowed one to walk from the kitchen, down a half flight to ground level, and then down another half flight to the basement. However, I wanted a new deck off the kitchen sans a single step. The carbuncle was carefully dismantled, and its lovely diamond-paned window stored away. Soon, it will be installed in the new first-floor full bathroom. Here it is ALMOST finished but looking quite the mess. Note though the glass panel, lower right. Nice.

I always slop primer and paint onto the glass with nary a neat concern. Then, I take a wide putty knife, a sharp straight-edge razor thingy, and effortlessly make PERFECT straight lines. And few things are more important than PERFECT straight lines on window glass, right? Ross very happy.

I would have thought the window would be a portrait, not a landscape. But then, it looks like something out of an English gothic revival cottage to me.
Repurposed is good.
Ummmm. I’m really sorry, but the language pedant in me is freaking out. Sans means without. “With sans” literally means with without. Sorry man. I can’t help myself.
I have corrected the horror! Thank you!
Yay!
Correction of the horror! Ross Triumphant!
Justin looks happier too!
