Santa Lisa #4

Lisa gifted a pair of 1920s 2-arm sconces. The poor dears. They were just as pitiful as could be. But, after a ridiculous amount of work….scroll down…

    Just stunning.

That is amazing. I am continuously stunned at how you are able to clean up decades of dirt and bring out the original beauty of these vintage fixtures.

Those are certainly period to my house but my house was never wired for sconces and I would have no place to put them.

(BTW, Emporia Gazette had a short article on the sale of Plumb Place. $240,000. There are bees living in the columns.)

I so wish my house could host one or more of the amazing lights you rescue, Ross. As it is, I’ll have to be content to drool over the selections and cheer when another rescued light gets a home.
