Before. After.

With the library being a project these many months, the stairhall was turned into a storage space and workroom. This pained me.

Today? Pain be gone! Whew! Ross happy!

Even without a ceiling, that is an absolutely magical space. I’m so happy you can see straight into the niche again.

what a magnificent open hall space! It’s wider than I imagined. Have you ever posted a view from this angle before? I think this might be the first.

    Stunning work Ross!

Small accomplishments can mean a lot, give a little closure, and make some order out of chaos – always a good thing in my experience!

Stunning. Even with everything that needs doing.

Wow! That entryway is just so, so, beautiful. I have to have things a little organized when I am working on projects as well. I get a little anxious if I’m surrounded by clutter. It makes me feel like I’m getting nowhere on the projects if I don’t. It looks lovely, as does the library. My husband and I finally found a home in Kansas and are moving this weekend. I hope to make an appointment to see your house someday. People ask us, “Why Kansas?” We say, “Why not?” Then we get the Toto and Dorothy jokes. I’m sure you got that a lot too.
