Two coats of primer? This is new to me. I thought one coat primer and two coats of paint. Why two coats?

congrats on turning over triple digits on the project! Looking back, you’ve come quite a far way from where the Carriage House was before you started all this work. I was also looking back at older carriage house posts the other night, as I had missed the saga of restoring the Carriage house’s finial on the turret. Back then, I disagreed more on the removal of the newer Squires porch. But the more the paint goes up and the plan assembles itself together, the more I can see the vision.
Wow. What a difference you’ve made in 100 days! That Baby Steps (TM) method is powerful. POWERFUL!!!
