CH: Day 114

October 13, 2023•

Yesterday was incredibly windy. For reasons I cannot explain this always feels ominous. I get a little scared and do not like being outside. So, I ventured into the deep recesses of the big house to continue working on the big sash. It is all stripped now (both sides). The glass is back in place. Soon: glazing! Soon: no more OSB board!

    The phrase “the big house” always tickles me. As you make the tour de carriage house, I am struck by how big IT is.

    Now, how are things progressing in getting the transom out of hock? If you have both, will the window be installed?

    I know this is obvious, but the words “windy” and “Kansas” make me want to be in the big house basement too!
