CH: Day 126

Today. I nailed down the siding and infilled all the holes. Tomorrow? Drum roll, please: PRIMER! Next week I should have the restored small sash in place, and in about two weeks the restored leaded-glass sash (above the big window) will be in place (I will need to glaze and paint it after picking it up next week). Oh, and the basement window, center? That is ready to be installed!

Any thoughts about what color — or if — you want to paint the foundation? I’d volunteer to help with that. I can’t do scaffolding and ladders because I’m leery of heights — but I’m not afraid of the ground! I’ll happily sit there and paint cement blocks, if you like.
I always forget about that sinking and puttying the holes. Because that is the part I truly hate.
But I see it and kudos to you for getting it done.
Wow, with all of those windows done that side of the house will have made an amazing transformation from when it started.
Now, has enough of the vinyl arrived to complete the rest of the work? Will the city give you enough grace to finish?
