A Day Which Will Live In Infamy

This is a political post.

If you don’t care about America, don’t scroll down…

Recently, Trump trashed our allies.

Recently, Trump trashed the European Union.

Recently, Trump trashed NATO.

But today? Today, Trump praised Putin while trashing the American intelligence community.

Tomorrow? This is the cover of the Daily News, which sums it all up…

.

Today, Trump made it clear that he supports Putin over America.

What more evidence is needed that Trump is a puppet of Putin?

And if you want to dismiss my thoughts because I am a Liberal (a proud Liberal)?

Well, the bi-partisan US Senate Intelligence Committee recently concluded that Russia interfered in the 2016 election, a conclusion which is wholly supported by all 17 US intelligence agencies.

And today, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) stated: “I have said a number of times, I’ll say it again: The Russians are not our friends. And I entirely believe the assessment of our intelligence community,”

Today is a dark day for America.

And all this, just a few weeks from kids being put in cages by Trump. And today, many of those kids are still in cages.

He was barely in office when he started trashing Australia. His supporters don’t realise what an international joke he is.

They don’t, Annette. They have no idea.

      Big hugs,

      Ross

Enough is enough! Who is going to fire him?

    • Ross on July 16, 2018 at 10:12 pm

      A good question, PK!

Trump has sold out our nation, the United States of America. I never thought I would see this day. Trump worships dictators and wants his people (in his mind) to bow down to him. He is an embarrassment to our country. He has put our country’s security at risk. He is Putin’s puppet.

Hillary called him Putin’s puppet in the last 2016 debate.

      The girl knew!

      Big hug, Cindy!

I watched the videos. I awoke rather late today, only to go on Twitter and find the MASSIVE amount of horror as to what Trump spoke today. I am still horrified, and I likely will remain so. Trump said he trusts Putin’s words over the MANY. Trump has no backbone, no honour or integrity, a sham, a shame, a disgrace.

America was sold out the day he ‘won’ the election, the day it was announced Clinton had 3 million more votes, the day he was on his way to the inauguration. America is sold every single day he lies, cheats, and throws an ally under the bus. Every day another sword is stabbed into America. Trump has committed treason in my view. He has declared every single American system liars; from the FREE PRESS, to the intelligence agencies and the government itself. Everyone except Putin is a liar to Trump. I pray he gets arrested the second he steps back on American soil.

When Senator Mitch McConnell says something like that, you know its a big/real deal. I despise that man as well, but sometimes he does have some common sense.

To those saying Trump’s supporters don’t realise…at this point they’d have to be brain dead, Nazi/Russian fanatics, or they simply don’t care because they know the GOP accept him and will continue to strip every little bit of progress every Democrat or left-wing President has done in the past 60 years. This is a hatred-fueled revenge revolution.

At this point I may just end up singing “God save the Queen” at every national anthem, we’d be well off at this point with her, and one day I (We the people) may end up having to seek asylum elsewhere, may as well start there.

      Agreed, agreed, and agreed.

      Big hugs, Jonathan.

Sadly every time Trump opens his mouth I feel horrified, not just today.

Trump has no choice but to do Putins bidding, if he don’t the whole world will see the dirty little smut flicks Putin has on Trump and who knows who else.

Hey, you elected a retard. What did you expect? {I mean the U.S.A. in general, I don’t mean you specifically]

I never thought, as horrid as he is, I would live to see this day. Those who voted with him so they could insure the placements on the Supreme Court, sold their souls to the devil. I’m afraid to see what comes next…..

I totally agree and as a proud fellow liberal, Ross, I totally support your comments. We have a LOT of work to do to save this country. 2018!—vote Democratic! 2020—vote Democratic! Volunteer. Speak out. Educate. Now.

This helped me to feel better. If you haven’t watched please do.

Thanks Ross for helping me post President Obama’s Nelson Mandela speech. Wise words from a very wise man!

Its amazing what trump has done. Any of the things he does on a seemingly weekly basis would have brought any prior president down. Clinton was impeached simply for an extramarital relation. But it seems trump pulls shit like this on such a regular basis the public never has a chance to focus in on one thing!

There are none so blind as those who will not see…for the first time in my life, I am truly afraid of what the future holds for the USA – and I grew up during the Cold War! My daughter and I were talking this past weekend about the possibility of moving our family to Canada or possibly the UK. So sad that we would have this conversation. Our first home burned down back in the mid 80s, and the feeling I get now thinking about this country is eerily similar to the feeling I got then, waiting for the firetrucks to arrive.

    • Ross on July 24, 2018 at 7:31 pm

      Thank, Mike.

I know just how you feel.
