I *love* this. Unfortunately it doesn’t fit the style of my house. It would have fit the style of the house I wanted but not the one I ended up with. While built in 1922 it has no Art Deco or Arts and Crafts details. It’s like a farmhouse compared to those around it. I’ve been in some wonderful Craftsmens in the neighborhood and other parts of the city. Unfortunately, mine is not one of them. It was what was available and what I could afford. It has it’s pluses, like hard wood floors, high plaster ceilings and a good sized lot with a two car garage. But nothing special in architectural details aside from two half pillars on the porch. It didn’t even have built ins.
