A Limpy Update
Called the vet this morning and described Limpy’s condition.
“It obviously an abscess that expressed. That’s normal. I’ll give you some medicine, and wash the area with soap and water for a few days. Cats self-heal really well. There’s no need to bring him in.”
So…OK!
He’s still scarfing down food, and today he has been cleaning himself, another good sign.
Last night, Limpy fell asleep in my hand. He looks really pitiful, the poor dear. He looks MUCH better today!

He must feel better if he’s eating. Infection can be exhausting. 💜 Whatever happens, he’s right where he needs to be. Limpy is in good hands.

I still think he should be an indoor cat. I suspect after all of this and his long recuperation, he may just give up his feral ways and decide to be your house cat.
