A Multi-Colored Discovery

For a long time I have admired this set of 1970 pendants by Virden. I knew however that I would never come across a set. Oh…but…

…I found an amber one! Then…oh…but…

…I found a charcoal one! Then…oh…but…

…I found an emerald one!

When I came across the set I was gobsmacked! And the set was undamaged!

The three fixtures would look fabulous in a line down a long hall, hanging over a rectangular coffee table, or over a small dining table.

Inside each glass shade is a perforated gold cone, which masks the bulb.

I am feeling very Mod today.

Those are really cool! Vividly express their time, don’t they?

Those are really cool! Or perhaps “groovy”, or maybe “rad”. Not sure what the period-appropriate adjective is here, haha.

Far out! My hip aunt had a set of three similar fixtures hanging over a long bar that separated her kitchen from the family room.
