A Surprise At The Door

A few days ago, my neighbor Brad came by the big house while I was up on scaffolding.

“I’m an extrovert! This staying at home is killing me!”

So, with him standing on the lawn, and with me on the porch roof, we safely conversed for an hour, during which he mentioned baking a lot of bread.

Yesterday, I came by the house and found this:

.

Huh? So, I took a picture, texted the image to Brad, and asked: “Is this you?”

The reply: “No. It’s a loaf of bread.”

Haha 😂. Great neighbors are golden.
Hoping to make my annual June trip-I so want to see the progress on the South side in person. 🤞🏻

Freshly-baked bread. How did the saying go? Something like good fences make good neighbors… but a good bread makes the best neighbors.
