A Zesty Update

More of the porch ceiling is painted. The “older” color can still be seen far right. I really like the new color. It is a bit more subtle while still being quite zesty! And, as previously stated, green houses in the 1890s often had pinky porch ceilings. I love how unexpected the color is! A surprise!

I like the newer color. I’ve repainted using a different shade more than I care to remember. But you just keep trying until you get it right and are satisfied.

I would of never known how colourful houses were back then! It surprises me that the Victorians were painting their houses such amazing colours back in the 1800s. I wonder why everyone thought they used muted palates for their decor?
