I think that this will be his undoing… I think even his voters have been surprised .The cruelty is abominable.

They may be surprised, but the real question is – is that enough for them to challenge their disgraceful belief system, and actually face reality? They have been remarkably unaffected with any previous moral, social, or political failings? I have my doubts that even this will arouse any feelings regarding humanity or justice.

It is repugnant, indeed. More so, it is diabolical.
The normalization of cruelty that has been hammered into the citizenry since January, often “appears” to go unnoticed by many. Action perpetrated a by a few, (if any) is often dismissed as “radical”.
A lot has been orchestrated to get everyone on the same page: “If you’re not for us, you’re against us.”.
Protest, or simply voice opinion & you will face consequences, or ridicule at the very least. To observe & say nothing, means surviving immediate repercussions. That cozy “rock & the hard place” location is what makes us all culpable.
Culpability has always been part of the plan.
Sadly, it is not astonishing to me that so many are confused or simply daunted by the antics of a predatory regime. Fascism generally delegates it’s own authority & eventually, everyone finds themselves between a rock & a hard place.

    Find them.
    Organize.

I watched a podcast with Mary Trump, psychologist, PHD and she talked about this. We will often be amazed at how MAGA votes against their own best interests. Like losing healthcare, tariffs causing inflation and higher food prices. She said it is that their concept of best interests is different than ours. She said they may be aware of these things but they may decide they would rather lose healthcare and pay double for milk, bread and eggs in order to get those brown criminals deported from the country. It’s a matter of priorities and how you see the world.

    Which is kinda sad.

Then again, bizarrely Marjorie Taylor Greene has spoken up about defying the party regarding healthcare. Of course, that didn’t stop her from voting for the Yuge Ugly bill but now she is backing the shut down until healthcare is restored.
