I purchased this pitiful-looking fixture online, which had been spray-painted silver. For, I knew what it was. And I knew what it could be. And I knew I had the missing parts in storage.
The fixture was a Duplexalite. And I love love love Duplexlaites.
Under the silver spray-paint was actual silver-plate!
In storage, I had the original glass disk and finial!
Recently, I sold a matched pair of OMG Duplexalites.

Classy! Who paints over real silver with silver paint‽
So some of them were made with the contrasting color behind the outer metal frame, and others with a single-piece embossed body?
