Before. After.
My online vintage lighting store.

But….ZOUNDS! I selected oversized clear round bulbs because these were all the rage in the 1970s. These are still available but, even better, as LED versions!

If you buy the fixture you might find yourself compelled to install shag carpeting to complete the retro 70s look.

I just realized: the 70s are vintage now. And I graduated in the 70s. Which means everything I grew up with will now be hitting antique stores. Ooh, and it means I’m vintage, too! It’s probably time for a makeover of my own to spiff me up for the decades to come . . . .
I graduated in 1969 Barb, I know how you feel. Sadly, 90’s music is new to me. But the chandelier is amazing, hard to believe it was made in the 70’s, but no shag carpeting for me Ross.
The 70’s vintage? I thought it would take longer.
But then I thought it would take longer for me to get into my 70’s.
So soon old, so late smart.
That’s a sweet chandelier – it would go nicely in a kitchen, a breakfast nook, or any cottage dining area. It could even “fancy up” a porch or covered patio area. 💮
No judgment but … this antique human shudders at the thought of shag carpeting. 🫣 I didn’t even like it in the 70s!
