Before. After.

This was on eBay. Wow. A very early all electric pendant. It would be FABULOUS in the Cross House save two things. It is a bit later than the 1894 house. And it is not a gas/electric combination fixture. Sigh. So I purchased it for resale. Wanna see it now?

The center wreath (incredible!) just clips on. How it managed to remain in place for over a century is beyond me. Notice the subtle asymmetry? Love it!

Wreath and anthemion and acanthus leaves, oh my!

Drop-dead gorgeous German-made shades!

Stunning! Glorious!

I can’t believe what a perfect match the shades are to the fixture! Amazing. I often wonder how you clean these puppies up so beautifully…ie: do you get them replated, or how do you go about it? Have you ever thought of doing a series of “how to” videos on you tube? Yeah, I know….like you don’t have enough of your plate!

That is a very unique and elegant piece. The asymmetric wreath is such an interesting touch.
