Before. After. Redux.

Kenny found a pair of these crystal sconces on Facebook Marketplace. I was pretty sure they were not that old. But they were large, always a good thing. They were also cheap. It seemed obvious I could, likely, make money. And by buying them Kenny could get a finder’s fee, something I support. It is hard to live…sigh…on a teacher’s salary.

All cleaned and with new candles covers. But…Ross was not happy. They were gray with bits of gold leaf. It seems like there was originally more gold, kinda confirmed by the gold flaking off as I gently cleaned the sconces. And the candles looked stubby to me. Surely the sconces, at an impressive 26-inches high, should NOT have stubby candles, right? Oh, the horror. Wanna see the after after?

Oh. Much better. I am brilliant!

And what was forlorn are now glittering beauties. Ross happy, at last.

You and the lights are both brilliant! If I owned my current house, I would buy it and put it in my bedroom.
