CH: Day 20

Yesterday. From the window down all looks good. Oh, who am I kidding. It all looks FABULOUS! But from the window up? Scary!

The carriage house, around 2002, shortly after Bob Rodak purchased it. The house looks grim, grim, grim. The over-powering circa-1920 front porch is obvious. Note though how the 1920 porch intersects the 1894 main structure, left. Note the blue second-floor shingles, with white lap-siding below. Note the downspout, upper left.

See the downspout, upper left? It is the same. But the porch is long gone, having been removed by me in 2014. Above the relocated diamond-paned window is flashing for the 1920s porch, which is at an angle.

Today. All that crap be gone! Above the window is the, I think, 1894 trim. The window will soon be finished with its top trim, and then I can complete the lap-siding.

Making good progress hope the repairs continue to go smoothly!
Remarkable!
I say “Squee!”
Making astonishing progress!
Can you give us a couple pictures of what still needs done to pacify the citation? Maybe a few of your closer fans could swing by and spend a day of concentrated work to take care of the worst appearing spots.
Nice idea. I could be available.
Jenine, I did a post about all the work required.
Thank you for sharing the ‘before’ photo and the sketch of the planned ‘after’. It will be lovely!
Pretty impressive drawing. But, what have we done to deserve being flipped off? (Wink 😉
