He’s Got My Vote

The above title tells all.

Today, President Biden announced that he will seek a second term

He was soooooooo not my first choice in 2015/16 but he, of course, got my vote.

Today, I am frankly dazzled by Biden. He…and his team…have done an incredible job. All of which the media ignores in their ever-lustful reporting of all things Trump.

Moreover, I am guided by this simple fact:

Democrats HELP.

Republicans HARM.

Biden has my second vote.

Thank you, Mr. President.

He was not my first choice last time and isn’t this time, but I’ll certainly vote for him again. Gladly.

I’m with you, Ross! I’ll vote for him in the primaries and in the general.

I too will vote for him. However, I do wish someone younger, lots, would step up, but so far no one is.

RFK Jr. has already announced his candidacy and he’s only 62 years old. I think he would be much less divisive than either the previous or current officeholder.

      • Ross on April 25, 2023 at 5:15 pm

        Hello, AO!

RFK Jr. is, well, a nut case. He won’t get any traction from Democrats.

And how has Biden been divisive? He’s made it lear that he’s the president to ALL Americans. And he’s been clear that he believes in equal rights for ALL people.

How has he been divisive? Please. Just Google “Biden divisive” and you’ll find plenty to inform you. He’s made us the laughing stock of the world. The majority of democrats want someone else. P.S. RFK Jr. is 67 and not 62 as I posted above.

You are a caution! A caution!

You asserted that Biden is divisive. OK. So, I asked for evidence. You provided none. Instead, you asked me to Google the question.

Ahhh, Google. A beacon of fact-finding!

You know, I just Googled “Hillary Has Alien Baby” and received over 4 million results. So, that must mean it’s true, right?

Google has no value if one does not possess…discernment.

          • Ross on April 25, 2023 at 10:22 pm

And I just Googled this: “Robert Kennedy Jr nutjob”

            And got 214,000 results.

Nice try, Ross. You won’t find what you won’t look for or don’t want to see.

That’s my only problem with Biden: age. And I’m old; it’s not an ageist comment….

    He has my vote!

I agree, Ross. Biden isn’t an attention getter, but he gets the job done. And he might even do better in a rematch!

I used to like RFK, but he sure seems to have gone off the deep end of the pool, and picked up some unsavory swim mates with his vaccine denial obsessions…

If his book “The Real Anthony Fauci” was in any way untrue, he would have been sued by now. He hasn’t been. Everyone needs to read the book and understand the voluminous damning evidence contained within before dismissing him as a nut job. You haven’t read the book, have you?

      • Ross on April 25, 2023 at 5:26 pm

Dear AO, You wrote: “If his book “The Real Anthony Fauci” was in any way untrue, he would have been sued by now.”

Oh, my sides. It appears that you know nothing about how the law works.

I have great respect for Dr. Fauci.

I have zero respect for Kennedy.

A review of Kennedy’s “true” book.

Lol. So, when are you getting that next booster shot again?

          • Ross on April 25, 2023 at 10:00 pm

The majority of people in America who have died of Covid were not vaccinated.

And the majority of people in America who have died of Covid have been…Republicans. You know, the science-denying political party.

I have received two vax shots and one booster. Due to my medical issues this past year the doctors want me to press pause on a second booster until my health is better. This does not mean though that boosters = bad. I also had to press pause on a colonoscopy due to my health.

I like Biden. Wasn’t my first choice, but far better than a cheeto. I like that he and Jill Biden are a untied couple, they seem very human and family oriented. And they focus on things that are important to me. Cancer, teachers, military, health care costs, humanity, kindness.
    He will have my vote.

    Books worth reading:
How to Talk to a Science Denier
    (Lee McIntyre)
    What Happened (Hillary Clinton)

I will vote for Biden, Elizabeth Warren was my first choice. But Joe Biden has done an excellent job as President.

    • LS on April 26, 2023 at 1:25 am

      Agreed!

I love my Joe. I do wish he was 70…. But I will take the 80 year old Joe too!
