The never-ending job of re-shingling the south facade should be done by next week. But I will only believe it when I see it.

A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step…you’ve made a million single steps over the past few years and the journey is incredible. It is looking so awesome!
Oh my, that’s amazing Ross. If you did nothing else but the outside you have truly saved this house for so many generations to enjoy. But let’s face it you have done a lot of other things. Getting so close to the finish line!
It seems like this side is taking forever. But every time you post a photo, I can see how much progress you’ve made. It’s looking so much better, bit by bit, baby step by baby step.
I will be cruising through Emporia on Sunday, and I hope it will be light so I can see all the progress myself!
Restoration in any of the rooms will now seem ridiculously quick and simple.
If we have to put up with this weird and ridiculous weather this winter (ONE real snowstorm up here in New England), at least it worked to your benefit.
Ross, you may be stuck inside soon….rain lingering in your area coming up. Are any of the rooms ready for patching of holes from electrical updates? And is that a tricky job? Which room would you want to start on first? And what are your plans for your master bath? So many questions!

Single step or “shingle” step lol.

Seeing is believing. You’ve come so far and have done so much good work. It looks amazing.
Wheeeee, this is very exciting!
So painstaking but, utterly worth it. It’s slowly becoming the new house on the block. 💜
The difference is remarkable.
Amazing work–I can’t wait to see before and after photos. This side of the house always made me the saddest before your restoration.
Stupendous news!
Yay Ross!
One shingle at a time …. zillion shingles done….. the home stretch in sight!!!
I am so vsry happy for you!!!
Squee!!!!!!

Just fantastic! What are the actual colors you are using?
