The servant’s hall is done!!!!!!!!
This is particularly satisfying as, for several years after buying the house in 2014, there was no floor in the servant’s hall. One looked directly into the basement.
The original floor had been been eaten by termites!

Well done! Solid flooring for the win! The house is not only regaining its beauty, it is also regaining its functionality.
Sorry to ask but, where are the termites now? My old house had them. I knew spring was well and truly arrived when my south side bay window was full of sparkling wings, dropped after the annual swarm. We tried a few treatments, including some that were no longer on the market because they were just a wee bit toxic. The one that worked was bait stations with interchangeable cores. When the regular cellulose cores showed evidence of termite activity you switched out the core to something that I believe worked with borate. They took the borate laced cellulose back to the nest and shared it around. End of nest. I only ask because of the new studs on the right of the photo. They were hungry but we like structure in our homes.
Do you happen to remember the brand of bait station? And for what kind of termite?
I’m sorry, I used a pest control company so I don’t know the brand.

Was bait station Sentricon? That’s a common brand used in the south. Bait stations are usually green and placed around the perimeter of the house. Works very well. I had it at my house and never had a termite lodger.
