More Colorful!

With lightning speed. Hoefer Stained Glass restored the pair of west vestibule windows! They are now back in the house, and being glazed.
I dropped off the four stained-glass windows from the parlor. These are—drum roll, please—the last to be restored! Incredible! When they are done, all 42 stained-glass windows will have been restored, and one window that went missing will have been recreated.
All this work has been funded by two Heritage Trust grants. Thank you, Kansas!!!!!!!!

Hooray Hoefer Stained Glass! Hooray Kansas! Hooray Ross!
It has been a pleasure working with Scott Hoefer these past five years, Leigh.
Am sure that Scott Hoefer (Hoefer Stained Glass) finds it wonderful to work with you, Ross.
That’s wonderful! So pretty.
Excellent work! What room is missing its stained glass?
Morning, Jakob!
The sewing room lost a stained-glass transom. However, its twin is extant across the room and I’m having that copied.
Wow – those look great. As a side note, 526 is my numerical address for our place in MI. I can’t believe I never noticed that before! Fun!
That is lightning speed! Excellent! Do you have any idea who fabricated the original windows?
Not a clue, Nancy!
Delicious!- Is the replacement of missing window part of the grant as well?
How awesome! I get a serious case of stained-glass envy every time you post pictures like this. My town has a lot of extant homes from the 1880s/90s, but like mine, there doesn’t seem to be a lot of stained or leaded glass in any of them. We had a 28″ square diamond in our stairwell that was blown out in a F2 tornado 12 years ago; to be honest, it really was not pretty at all, so we had a new one made from scratch that better complemented the house.
