I keep talking about how dangerous the Republican party has become to the America people and to democracy.
Today offered yet another example. A horrific example.
The Republican party has been super-focused on so-called Don’t Say Gay and drag queens. They claim both are a danger to children.
This is utter bullshit. And this is what the Republican party has become. The party of bullshit.
Wanna know what IS a danger to children?
Church leaders (sexually abusing children) and guns (terrifying and slaughtering children). And what are GOP leaders doing about these two very real issues?
Nothing.
For, they are too busy ranting and passing laws about imaginary issues.
This picture is from today. The little girl has not been wholly traumatized by gays and drag queens.

I keep asking: If you are voting Republican, my question is why? Why are you helping to harm all of us? Why are you helping to slaughter children?
NOTE: Democrats support gun reform. Republicans do not. And guess which party gets massive funding from the NRA?
All these headlines are from just one month (12/22). But, sure, drag queens are the problem. FFS.

Dear Ross, a sad state of affairs really. Extremists have hijacked the GOP party and moderate republicans are afraid to stop the bus. They just allow it to race forward driving us to the destruction of democracy as we know it. Try living in Florida 🙁 I’m very scared
I can’t wrap my head around all this unnecessary carnage and the refusal of Repuublican legislators to ban assualt weapons…
Kate, Bill Clinton banned assault weapons. Republicans let this ban lapse under Bush2, which led to a 183% increase in gun massacres.
But, sure, drag queens are the problem.
Exactly.
And another shooting in Nashville at a grade school but “it’s not the guns”. I agree-no one needs an assault rifle but the military and maybe law enforcement. And how about the school who banned Dolly Parton’s song from their concert? I love how Facebook has been showing all the famous men that have dressed as women for entertainment and that just now it’s a problem? Also the statue of David situation. I read (didn’t verify this) that it was made for a church but the church decided it was too high and far away from the congregation to appreciate so they moved it to a central area outside for all to enjoy-which means they were smarter and more accepting than those people today! I keep asking myself: why are we moving backwards? Racism, abortion bans, making it tougher to vote, imposing religious standards on all (I wonder how many of these people actually go to church!), etc. So scary – anyone else think the anti-Christ is at work? (Sorry for the length of my rant)!
