Santa Lisa #1
My online vintage lighting store.

Lisa, who comments on this blog thingy, has purchased a lot of lights from me over the years. A few weeks ago we met. In a parking lot. Each of us many many many miles from our homes. In what must have looked like a drug deal to observers, I transferred many boxes from her car to mine. Inside the boxes were fabulous lights which Lisa had picked up for a song, and gifted to me, as a way of helping the Cross House.

This is the first such fixture I will present, after its restoration. And what an extraordinary beauty.

This light is just stunning!
Lisa is remarkable! Hugs to Lisa!
I’m so happy for you Ross!
I am stunned. That is truly amazing.
I love it. I want it. I have no place to put it.
This is like chairs. I love chairs and want them but have no more places to put the chairs I have. I have no more places to put any lights. I can’t justify buying this light to hang in the garage bathroom.
But I love it.
Can’t wait to see more of what she brought you.
Kudos to Lisa! And Ross! That is wonderful! Thank you for always sharing your lights with us. 🙂
This light fixture is gorgeous, the best reflection on a ceiling ever. What a nice gesture from Lisa.
I have some tears in my eyes. First, so thankful that when you unpacked it none of the glass was broken. I was so worried about it. Second, the light reflection on the ceiling takes my breath away! This is a true example of an inanimate thing bringing loads of joy into the world. It just makes me so happy and knowing you will restore it for many more years of joy makes my heart swell up. Joy, joy, joy.
Group hug, Lisa! Very generous! What a light fixture!
