I have had a lot of fun, no, THRILLS, uncovering layers of history at the Cross House via old wallpaper discoveries.
Today, I was reading another blog, and smiled in recognition and delight at somebody else having the same kind of thrill.

A dirty secret, a LOVE wallpaper. The 1930’s/1940’s is my favorite period, anything up toward the 1970’s is fun to look at. During the 1980’s into the 1990’s became the tacky era. Thanks for sharing their post, I enjoyed it (and their latest post from Feb…those carpets!! Too much awesomeness.)
