Laurie, have you seen the 1944 movie classic The Uninvited?

Talk about a house on a craggy shoreline!

      FABULOUS movie!

Luv that movie! Would love to have an old house, or cottage, on a cliff overlooking the ocean, land-lubber that I am! 🙂

Wow. That is beautiful. A bit before the time of my house but would be gorgeous in my dining room. Not along a coastline, though, craggy or otherwise.

But there are some c. 1920 beauties in the city that do have views of the ocean that that fixture would be beautiful in. Unfortunately I do not possess the millions to buy such abodes should they even be on the market. We have plenty of Spanish revivals in the areas that could handle both the size, time period and style.

I really love how it flaunts its light bulbs. “Look! We have electricity and five, count them, FIVE light bulbs.”

    Exquisite!

    Love the details!

I have seen the movie, “The Uninvited.” Yes, a fabulous movie! Also kind of haunting.

I’m currently rethinking all my life choices because I don’t have my own pirate ship\library.

      A wise rethinking, Barb!
