Stripping Again

With generous donations by Pamela and Lea, I purchased a 5 gallon drum of Peel Away and resumed work on stripping the brick 1894 chimney breast in the Cross House. What a thrill it will be to have this significant kitchen feature looking good! Note: The kitchen is a friggin’ mess, yes, but, by gum, it has great lighting!

It also has great bones. Look at that trim and skirting board! I am eager to see the end result of the paint removal.
Paint stripping was not the first thing that came to mind when I got the email for this post. I thought, “Man, Ross really will do anything for the Cross House!” 😀
It really does have great lighting!
