By way of contrast, President Biden today announced that he will host the largest-ever White House Pride Month celebration.
The difference between the two parties is stark.

I don’t understand how our country has reached the point where people who have centrist views are not represented in our government.
I had the opportunity today to bite back a little. We suffered roof damage in a wind/hail storm last week; our 5 year old roof must be replaced. I called 2 local roofing companies to submit bids that I am to provide to my insurance company. Our house isn’t quite as tall as the Cross House, but high and steep enough that the adjustor is happy to look at our estimates…on the ground. Both estimates were around $45k, and the decision is mine. I was deliberating; one roofer is a small, independent owner, the other one is a large, regional roofing company. I was scrolling through their Google reviews, and saw some responses that the owner had made to some dissatisfied customers; he actually called a couple of them snowflakes and libtards! And when one elderly lady replied and stated that she and her late husband were Democrats, he replied with some silly remarks about Biden, then ended with “God bless Trump, let’s go Brandon!” I called him this afternoon, told him that I had reached a decision, then he interrupted me by telling me that he would get us penciled in. I told him that would be fine, except that we are going with the other contractor because we are Democrats and we knew that he wouldn’t want to do the job once he found us out. “And by the way, Brandon…Trump is a LOSER!” Click…
Thank you, Mike, for your service to the country. Since 2016, I have been weeding out of my life Trump supporters, and I am careful to buy from companies that don’t support Trump. So, for example, I buy from Lowes and not Home Depot. The company I long purchased packing supplies from? Its CEO is a huge Trump supporter. I changed suppliers. In 2016 the New York Times did yet yet another IT’S HER EMAILS front-page story. I called in to cancel my subscription over this giant nothing burger, and told them why.
