The upper landing in the Cross House has a triple set of gorgeously restored stained-glass windows, surrounded by highly damaged plaster walls, and even pink plastic bathroom tiles (lower left).
Today, I began the process of repairing the wall. I don’t have time to restore the whole upper hall but thought it would be nice for this ONE wall to look fabulous when coming up the stairs!
Oh yes! I think it’s a welcome relief to have a glimpse of finish here & there. Frankly, I’m comfortable with any wall without holes. 💗 I love a prepared surface – it helps nudge dreams. 😉
That green! I can’t even fathom who could go to the paint store, look at color samples, pay their hard-earned money, starting rolling it on the wall, and in ever step of the way saying “Yeah, that’s the color I want!” The horror!
Your wall of stained glass windows is far more beautiful than Trump’s wall. This will give you incentive to complete the wall, when you have the time. Can’t wait to see the finished result.
Looks great Ross…Love the windows…Have a great weekend…XO
I love that wall!
Love love 💕 love ❤️ the windows!
Wall at top of stairs sublime!
The patches are a good start… it’s all progress!
I’m hoping the radioactive green paint bites the dust soon!
