Bravo, Ross! I was wondering how you were doing with the holey cornice.

(Um, was it raining when you took this picture? I see thin diagonal lines.)

Having to work above the lower cornice and dig in around the roof & downspout – UGH – such a niggling area! For me, it would be a relief just to get to a long run of plain, flat surface.
Only one more bit of cornice to work on before the lovely round window! The round windows are among my (numerous) personal favorite features of the house. They really catch the eye. They are like a beauty mark to enhance a particular feature – think: Cindy Crawford’s mole. 😊

I am thrilled to see the progress. It looks great. You are a very busy man so having time to do this and your lighting business and the theater. I think I need a nap from just thinking about that.

Looks great! That corner seemed especially impossible before you did it. Whew!
