Kenny Delivers!

When Kenny purchased the chair, it looked in good shape and with new upholstery. This proved…an illusion. So, Kenny took the chair to a master restorer, and much was done.

There also proved numerous bits missing, such as a corner on one leg. A new piece was attached and grinded down.

The settee was missing its rear wheels. Oh, the horror. Kenny made sure that antique ones were installed.
And all this? ALL this?
Kenny gifted it to the Cross House.
So, everybody, a BIG hug to Kenny!

Yay Kenny! What a delightful & generous friend!
BIG hug to Kenny! What a wonderful gift. The settee and upholstery are beautiful, it really turned out nice. It matches the fireplace tiles too.
Happy Easter Ross, hope you’re feeling better.
Huge hugs from Australia, that is a very cool settee.
Wow, Kenny, how kind and generous. Didn’t you also donate a clock and your time stripping woodwork!!!Everyone should be so lucky to have a “Kenny” for a friend!!!!
What a lovely gesture from Kenny. Hugs!
The master upholsterer did a great job. Settee looks like it never had any damage.
The master upholsterer and Kenny have, in their own ways, left a beautiful legacy.
Happy Easter to you Ross and Kenny, and to all that celebrate the season.
Are those acanthus leaves?! How beautiful and what wonderful, generous gift.
Happy Easter. Ross and Kenny – it is simply gorgeous! Kenny – you are a true and amazing friend. Ross – it looks awesome by the fireplace. Great news on such a miraculous day. 🙂
What a beautiful piece from an even more wonderful friend. Yeah Kenny!!!
Thanks Kenny!
Kudos to Kenny!
The settee is very beautiful. A very thoughtful and generous gift.
Happy Easter Ross and Kenny!
Way to go, Kenny!
That is a really snazzy piece! I love the assymetry
Love it! (Please don’t get it dirty while you’re working in there!)
What a generous gesture, yet again from Kenny. Big hugs to you both. I’m envious that Kenny can find such appropriate items for the Cross House. Unfortunately although I can recognize “old” I have very little clue what is true to the vintage of the Cross House. Guess that’s why I have furnished my home with such a ridiculous mish mash of things!
Anyway, such a great addition. Congrats for sure
But, it it’s a mishmash of things you love – absolutely nothing wrong with it. You just described my home and I love it! 🙂
