CH: Day 11

For reasons I cannot explain, the small window was not centered on the dormer window. Oh, the horror. Today, I laboriously moved it to the right by 2-1/2-inches. Sigh. I also added PVC trim on top. This will get a cap piece and some crown trim.

I am thrilled at the unexpected arrival of the diamond-paned window. NOTE: the siding down low is the cedar siding I purchased decades ago and never used. The siding above the scaffolding is all ancient, all original to the Cross properties, and now ready for another century. This warms my heart.

I hope you will be able to swap reused pieces around to avoid having to cut those lovely, long pieces of cedar siding. It’s almost like a big jigsaw puzzle moving and reusing bits and pieces.
Your eye for detail is unparalleld. So happy you put the diamond window on the front of the carriage house, now centered below the dormer. The plain glass will be more appropriate for the bathroom. Lookin good Ross!
