A Great Beauty

My online vintage lighting store.

A 1920s pan-style brass fixture. The main pan body is stamped brass and I polished this due to a badly mottled patina. There are also cast brass components (like the fabulous arms, upper flourish, and finial) and these parts retain a lovely patina. I very much like the polished bits contrasting against the darker bits.

And the shades? OMG!!!!!!!! They are truly incredible. The roses and leaves are hand-painted inside the shades, and with a white background. There’s also a pale green upper border with white accents. Yep, wow.

This is one of the most beautiful fixtures I have ever offered.

Not my personal taste, but they are lovely. Great job!

I LOVE that and it’s period to my house. Those shades are breathtaking and those are the roses I love because I grew up with them. They are like the roses on the scarves and shawls and fabric my Grandmother would send us from Germany. I have teapots with those roses. My good china has those roses.

But I have no where to hang it.

Maybe I should buy a lottery ticket. I can add on a room. (Then I can also buy more antique chairs.)

This is indeed one of the most beautiful I have seen, out of all fixtures revealed in your vintage lighting store! Absolutely exquisite!

It is truly gorgeous. I’m usually more a minimalist but this light fixtures is artistically appealing.

Oh, be still, my heart. That is truly the most awesome fixture you’ve ever offered, Ross. Happy sigh.

The light fixture is beautiful, but those shades are to die for. Just gorgeous.
