The Democratic party is the party of diversity.

Sadly, this has almost never been reflected in the top ticket.

So, today makes me very happy.

For the first time, we have BOTH gender and racial diversity.

I am very proud to be a Democrat.

In November, I’m voting for inclusion.

      Dan, I was just going to write the same exact thing.

        Dan and Bonnie, I was also going to say the exact same thing. For the first time in almost four years, I feel proud and hopeful.

    I’m so so so so excited about this.

    I think she’ll be an amazing VP and I think she’s going to mop the floor with Pence during the VP debate.

    JOEMALA 2020! Or is JOMALA better??

    This IS historic, to be sure. For the first time in a LONG time, I have a bit of optimism for the future of our country. She’s smart, she’s articulate, she’s educated, she’s a straight shooter- like the antithesis of what we see in charge now. I’m thrilled, bring on the election.

    It was a day that made me very optimistic. And yes, Kamala WILL wipe the floor with Pence. Oh, I so wish she could banter with the Big Baffoon too. She would get him so rattled he might fall out of his golf cart and crack his hair (not a typo) on the sidewalk.

      Love it!!!

    Yes! A very proud day for our country! And yes, can’t wait for that Pence/Kamala debate! He must be shaking in his boots!

    @glenn Love Joemala 2020!

    Yes, this announcement made me very happy too…and then when I saw so many old friends and coworkers who support Trump start with the insults and mockery on social media, it made me sad. Not for Kamala and Joe, I think they have a great chance of not only winning, but of then starting to reunite this fractured nation; sad for all of the people that I once liked and respected. It was easier when I did not know how dark their souls really are…

      Mike, I couldn’t agree more with you. Knowing people for years, some even family, that support him is so heart wrenching. Let’s just hope that Biden/Harris win big. We must all VOTE.

    This is the strongest ticket in many years and I am so optimistic. I know the opposition will make up scandals about Kamala and try to smear her but I feel that she is like Wonder Woman and can deflect or ignore the insanity.
