    What a wonderful
    “Hallelujah Chorus”.
I hope that Pentatonix just showed up at the Cross House to sing to you in person as you painted the last shingle. You are a hero to everyone who has the,
“But You Haven’t Finished Everything on the Whole House Chorus” or the,
Yes, But What Have You Done Lately Chorus”.
singing to them when major steps like this one have been accomplished.

Perfection as always. Congratulations on a huge accomplishment!

Are you tempted to turn the corner and continue on the second floor or
are you sticking to your plan to move on to area #4 next? I vote for
whatever is EASIEST. You deserve a break!

Stunning. And I love Pentatonix! What a fitting version for such an accomplishment!

    Now, do something easy!

  11. Carlyn on March 27, 2020 at 9:58 am

Yay! You did it! And the music was amazing, too! I agree with Dan, do something easy before you go on to another difficult spot.

We’re going to be working on the shingles on our house next. Some replacement shingles need to be shortened or cut at an angle, but we’ve never used power tools except for a drill. What type of saw should we use to cut them? Any advice would be appreciated.

    • Ross on March 27, 2020 at 4:47 pm

      Hi, Carlyn!

I used a jigsaw for the half-round shingles, and a chop-saw for the straight shingles.

GREAT! Looks perfect! So,so,so glad for you. I am wondering if this means the requirements of the grant have be accomplished? Could you now work toward what needs to be done for you to move into this wonderful home. I do hope that is true.

Thank God for your blog, Ross. I’ve read it from start to finish since I had to start working remotely from home almost two weeks ago. Your adventures and detective work are fascinating. I look forward to your next post and every one after that.
