A Short Story
I was just on the phone with a friend.
After talking for a while he said: “I hope you don’t mind but I was served a bowl of ice cream 10 minutes ago and I’m watching it melt. Would you mind if we end this call?”
Me: “Wait a minute. You’ve had a choice between ice cream and talking with me, and you chose…me?”
“Well, yea. I really like talking with you.”
“That is the sweetest thing anybody has ever said to me.”

So sweet! I always stop what I’m doing to talk to my sis-she’s more important than anything I could be doing. You are worth it!

I can’t remember the last time I talked on the phone with a friend. I have a good one but we will text instead. That way we can eat and “talk” at the same time. Plus it’s easier to go to the bathroom.
