Greta Thunberg, now seventeen, has gained international recognition by advocating the need to address climate change.

The Taliban is a hardline Islamic militant movement. Last July, it was reported that the Russian government was paying Taliban fighters to kill American soldiers in Afghanistan.

Today, Greta Thunberg endorsed Joe Biden.

Today, the Taliban endorsed Donald Trump.

No surprises there. Let’s hope 45 doesn’t manipulate the electoral college and magically win.

      Agreed, Dan.

Our voting machines are not safe.

After 2018, the Democratic-controlled House approved funds to secure voting machines from being hacked.

The Republican-controlled Senate refused to appropriate a single dime to this all-important task, and killed the House bill.

And, in that nutshell, much is revealed.

Dan, I’m not worried about Trump.

      I’m worried about Putin.

When I think of the condition this country is in and just how much is riding on this election, the suspense makes me feel like I am holding my head under water; if something good doesn’t happen on November 3rd, I am going to explode…
Ross, I know you have taken a lot of heat and lost some readers over your political posts, but I am always so glad to see one show up. It reminds me that there are still sane, good-hearted people out there who see clearly and know better. Stuck here in red-neck Trump Valley like I am, I need these reminders…

Mike, I know exactly how you feel. And I live just outside of Scranton, PA. My town is loaded with Trump signs. There are some Biden but not alot.

      • Ross on October 10, 2020 at 11:27 pm

        Dan? Take heart.

Biden is polling much better than Trump in PA.

        Check here.

      Thank you, Mike.

Yes, I have lost readers. What is interesting is that, while they sometime get and at me, not once have they ever offered facts to support their differing views.

They just seem to get mad that I have differing views.

Good for Greta, I think when she’s old enough she’ll make a fine political candidate for her country.

As for the Taliban endorsement of Trump – scumbags stick together. If Trump supporters didn’t turn against him when the news came out that the Russians were paying the Taliban to kill American soldiers, then nothing will change their minds. I never knew we had so many ignorant people in America. Biden is ahead right now, but I fear Trump will pull a dirty trick from his lawless bag. Or, if Biden wins by a landslide, I fear the aftermath of revolt and violence. Pray for peace.

Cindy, millions of people who voted for Trump in 2016 voted Blue in 2018.

And a lot of these voters were women, who were APPALLED at Kavanuagh, and APPALLED at how the GOP acted during the hearings.

Since 2016, Trump has lost millions of college-educated voters.

In 2016, Trump easily won the over-65 voter. Since, polls consistently show that Trump is now underwater with this vital demographic (older people VOTE). Most of this demographic will now be voting for Biden.

Today, Trump’s numbers are down IN ALL FIFTY STATES from his 2016 numbers.

None of this should be surprising as Trump has done nothing to attract new support. Rather, he’s made it 100% clear that, if you don’t support him, he could care less about you. Not once did Obama ever convey anything like that.

The 538 polling aggregate now has Biden at +10 over Trump. This is huge. By contrast, on this day in 2016, Hillary was at half that lead.

In short, if we had safe voting machines, I would predict a Blue tsunami come November. And, if this comes to pass, decent people across the globe will rejoice.

To add: Trump did nothing to stop the Russians for paying the Taliban to kill American soldiers.
