LOL. First he loses by 20 votes. Then he loses by 22 votes. And what does he do? He runs a third time and loses by 26 votes. From what I read the minority leader got more votes than Gym Jordan.
I know they hate Pelosi but at least she got stuff done.
McCarthy was asking for this in his ambition to be speaker and Gaetz gave it to them. Now Gaetz and the Rabies Brigade are going to make sure they lose the House in 2024. If they were smart every Democrat would not let the voters forget this entirely Republican generated debacle and dysfunction. With luck the Democrats will take back the House, gain even more seats in the Senate and Biden will be re-elected.
No truer words were spoken than Republicans can get elected but they can’t govern. But lest it be said they did nothing, they did pass a dress code for male representatives. That is something. Where would this country be if our Representatives were not wearing a suit and tie?
Here, Here! It gives me some hope that the Republican Party might have some fragile grip on Democracy.
