Are Ya’all Out There?
Last nighted I posted a very long Year End report. Here.
This morning I woke to not a single comment.
It is now lunch time. And still not a single comment.
Have ya’all been kidnapped by aliens?

I’m here. 😆 My site has been slow too. Think it’s just that time of year everyone chills or is busy. 🫠
We are here gleefully aware of how important life is. Living our best moments and forgetting our worst. I’m living through your journey and how incredible your life is and continues to be. Love the Cross house and all your endeavors. Can’t wait see the final product of the carriage house and drool over more fabulous lighting. Merry new years to you Ross. 💜💜💜💜
Haha, nope. I figured you and your elves might be taking a holiday break. SO impressed with all of the work you’ve done, especially with the turret!
Happy New Year Ross!
All best,
Greta
Yes I was kidnapped, not by aliens but way too much Christmas cheer. A belated Merry Christmas to you and the kitties.
Sorry and merry Christmas! I personally have checked out on life so haven’t been commenting. I love reading of your progress and political posts ( of which I fear you’ll have a lot of material for the next 4 years). Plz keep posting 😻(I have also found even tho I don’t check box to see other posts, they still notify me😿)
I read all your posts but don’t always comment due to adultinhinsufficiencies!
*adulting insufficiencies*
I wish
Always read your updates. Never comment on them. Just enjoy them. But, since you are requesting, hope you had a Merry Christmas and looking forward to your New Year progress!
Still here, aliens rejected me so I will stay on earth to continue to enjoy each and every one of your posts. I love the political ones, we really do think alike. ❤️
Ross your year end review left me exhausted and thinking about all the maintenance on my old house. Very inspirational indeed. Keep going we are all out here rooting you on and quietly jealous at the same time. Happy New Year!
Ross!
Thank you for the year in review!
I assiduously read all your posts.
Love every one.
Right now very challenged with end stage L shoukder and lumbar stenosis deteriorating and the resulting debility. January and February surgery consults.
12/23/24 when celebrating with my daughter, son and grandchildren I took a hard fall and broke my tailbone. Right in middle of festivities; dinner in oven, biscuits baking etc I adamantly refused to interrupt fun🎄. ED visit and 5 hours later; broken tailbone but no other fractures . Yay! Bad news is very painful 4-6 weeks. No surgery needed.
Anyway everything is very hard right now and the reason comments are sparse😱
Love everything you write about and unable to always reply.
Happy holidays!
Anybody celebrating Festivus??
Hahahaha
Cheers 🥂 to a happy and healthy new year to you!! 🥂
Hugs!!
Sandra, my darling, you need a BIG hug, STAT!
You are so sweet dear Ross!
Goodness, Sandra! What an awful end to your year. I’m glad you had family around when you had your fall.
Take care, be safe, heal quickly, and feel better soon!
You are so dear! Thank you kindly.😃
I have been struggling since the election, and not saying much to anyone. But I am here, and reading all your posts. We are scared… trans son, adult son on SSI, I am on SSDI. How are the three of us going to survive? Hugs.
Ross, I wish you a happy and fruitful new year! It is my personal wish that you make tremendous progress on the Cross House and the Carriage House.
Lots of comments now — happy new year!
Hi Ross, belated Merry Christmas and sending all best wishes for continued project completion in 2025. I’ve loved reading all your postings throughout the year.
Colin
Colin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I read your post and enjoyed it. The finished rooms in the Cross House are beautiful. Hoping for a good 2025.
Happy holidays! I love your end of year blog posts.
My lovely wife and I just returned from a visit to family members remaining in the the hometown. We don’t carry much Internet with us when we’re there. Instead, she takes a book and I take a Games magazine.
I don’t always comment, but I always enjoy your posts!
Ah! Personally, I have been chronically OFF-line for the past few days. Christmas is always hectic for me as part of a Huge Italian Family ™. Now that they are over, I have really appreciated reading your end-of-year review. No worries Ross, we aren’t going anywhere!
Happy New Year, Ross! I enjoy your posts. The year end review shows how much you have accomplished despite having to change your goals midstream. Both houses are coming along beautifully.
Sorry. Been busy and I know these are long so am waiting until I can give them my full attention.
Hello Ross, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Whether I comment or not, I’ve read everything you’ve published. I hope you continue on in Ross-like fashion.
Your neighbor,
BH
I have been reading your blog for years, but shame on me, I’ve not commented since an initial one ages ago. I’ve very much enjoyed following the saga of the cross house, thank you so much for sharing all your hard work! I’m eternally amazed at how incredibly beautiful the Cross House is, and how lovingly you’ve restored it.
Well, I guess I’ll join this “me, too” movement here. I also read every posting of yours and enjoy them immensely! I don’t hardly ever comment but know I support and respect you so much! Your political posts are the best! Good luck to us all the next four years!
I’ve been buried in Christmas cheer over here, and I finally have time to catch up on your posts! Best wishes to you for a happy, happy New Year!
Happy holidays, your fan from Nicaragua
Happy New Year dear Ross! Wishing you good health and great luck with both houses.
Apologies for the delayed reply. You know…Christmaskah…and all that.
So very sorry about Calico #1.
I have not yet read your year end report, but I am going to settle down and enjoy it now.
Hugs and love to you.
