Literally my FAVORITE picture sequence, ever, in the history of picture sequences.

As an aside: I don’t seem to recollect any posts about the railing restoration(s).

More like ginormous leaps forward. Every day the house is “healed” a bit more than the day before. And with each day more of the positive energy is restored. Kudos. Take a bow and step back and marvel at all you have done despite everything you’ve been dealing with this year. I truly hope you are able to move into the house soon.

A portal opening to the infinite universe somehow seems appropriate in a library.

It is marvelous! OMG! The porch! The porch! When I look back at the pictures of that porch when you first bought the house, I remember thinking that it was a goner. And it’s so magnificent now! Some days I confess, I didn’t believe that you would be able to save it.
And the library, I love that ceiling. I can’t wait to see it with all the plastic removed. Glad to see you’re getting your energy back, but please remember to pace yourself.

    I’m astonished by the transformation!

I suddenly realized what that library ceiling reminds me of and it’s something I have loved for years:

Art deco is my favorite era. I think you’re right. This ceiling definitely gives art deco vibes. It’s fantastic.

Look at you go. Lots of baby steps in quick succession. Stunning!

I’m itching to see the curved rail back in place. In its time. I expect fixing it up is more than a baby step. Am I remembering right that it’s one of the pieces down in the basement? Or is that wishful thinking.
