Before. After.

l saw a pair of these online. And hesitated. They looked…grim. But they also looked, maybe, fabulous. Also, I had never seen them before and this is always sure to capture my special attention. So, too, was the intoxicating appeal of their obvious…distress. I felt compelled to SAVE them! Save them!!!!!!!! Thus, having no choice, I purchased the pair. After arriving, I had no idea what the original finish was. Damn. But, first things first, I cleaned them. And while cleaning I was startled. Scroll way down…

Oh. Oh my! COLOR was revealed under all the dirt!

OH MY!!!!!!!!

OMG! What is this amazing piece? Sconce?

I assumed you had re-touched the color, until I read the text!

Those are very unique sconces. They seem to have sort of a Gothic vibe?

Hmm! Now I’m wondering what’s under all that grime on an old 1920s chandelier I have. How to clean it. Hmm!
