Before. After.

Almost 20 years ago, my favorite-ever buyer, Linda, gifted me with boxes of lights she had purchased over the years but knew she would never restore or use. Like this poor dear. Even though the 1921 finish was  unique (dark purple with green and red accents) it was in very poor condition. And, every time I would look at it in storage, I would recoil from the amount of work I knew would be required. But…drum roll, please…I recently decided to brave the task. Wanna see the results? Scroll way down. And be prepared to gasp!

Is that how it originally appeared? I can’t picture the room where one would use it.

Ross, you do beautiful work. I would have never guessed it was ‘that’ purple under all of that.

I want that for my extravagant self. Even though I live in a 1950s ranch. I would feel so very, very fancy with that above my dining room table.
